Patrick Gugerli graduated from the University of Geneva School of Dental Medicine where he also completed his post-graduate studies. He has a Swiss Federal diploma in dentistry (D.D.S.), a doctorate in dentistry (Dr.med.dent.) and is a Swiss board certified specialist in periodontology. Since 2009 he runs a private practice limited to periodontology and implantology in Neuchâtel (Switzerland). He is also involved as clinical instructor at the University of Bern. He is a former member of the scientific board of the Swiss Society of Implantology (SGI-SSIO) and is the actual President of the Swiss Society of Periodontology (SSP).
